After the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed building of Ajmer Municipal Corporation, UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra gave information about the upcoming municipal elections.

During this, after the program, Minister Kharra shared information on many topics including the corporation elections to be held in Rajasthan.
Preparations are being made for the election under One State-One Election
During the conversation, Minister Kharra said that the upcoming municipal elections in Rajasthan will be held under the One State-One Election scheme. Preparations for which have started. He further said that for this, the work of delimitation of wards is already going on, which will be completed by the end of June. After this, the work of voter list will be completed by the end of October. After that, an application will be made to the Election Department to fix the dates of elections between 15 November and 15 December.
All work will be online
Apart from this, Minister Kharra also informed that the services of all the municipal corporations and bodies of the state will now be made online. Due to this, common citizens will not have to visit the corporation offices. All applications will be settled within a week. If there is any deficiency in the documents, the officers will inform on time and if the mistake is of the officers, then that too will be rectified. In this way, the new building of the Municipal Corporation will not only be equipped with modern facilities, but will also become a medium to bring transparency and speed in administrative work.
Fire safety survey in hotels and restaurants
He shared many things about the recent fire incident in Hotel Naaz in Ajmer. He said that a special campaign will be launched to prevent such accidents from happening again. Under this, he also talked about getting the fire safety equipment checked in all hotels, restaurants and commercial establishments. He said that wherever violation of safety standards is found, action will be taken as per the rules.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, Autonomous Governance Minister Jhabar Singh Khara, Water Resources Minister Suresh Rawat, Ajmer South MLA Anita Bhadel, Congress councilors, many BJP officials, workers and administrative officers were present.
